Matthew joined the Live Oak Fitness team in August of 2017. He has been a resident of Saint Simon’s Island since 2007.
An avid outdoorsman, Matt has previously worked with Southeast Adventure. He enjoys scuba diving, hiking, kayaking, and birding in his spare time. He is a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School and is currently a student of the College of Coastal Georgia coastal ecology program. He is a Wilderness First Responder, EMT-B, and Certified Personal Trainer.

A native of Kent, Ohio, Charlie has made St. Simons Island his home for the past 15 years. He lives on the island with his wife Breanna and two daughters Charlie and Ceila. He has worked with Southeast Adventure as a guide as well as CrossFit Grit as a trainer.
Charlie is a Certified Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

A native of Stone Mountain, GA, Steven brings a diverse background of teaching and coaching to Live Oak Fitness.
He lives on St. Simons Island with his wife Katy and children Wilson and Marley Kate.
Steven brings 17 years of experience as an educator with the Lumpkin, Forsyth, and currently Glynn County school systems. He has 10 years experience in coaching cross country and wrestling. Steven will be teaching Adapted Physical Education this upcoming year for the Glynn County School System. He received his Undergraduate Degree from Augusta State University, where he was a four-year letterman on the Cross Country team for the Cougar Cross Country team. Steven has a Masters in Adapted Physical Education from North Georgia College & State University and is a Level 1 CrossFit instructor. He is completing his course work to become a Certified Personal Trainer through the International Sports Science Association (ISSA).

Patrick is a native of Lexington, Kentucky and has called St. Simons Island his home since the fall of 2015.
Finishing his senior year at the College of Coastal Georgia, Patrick will complete his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry this Spring, 2018. In addition to working with Live Oak Fitness, Patrick is the Children and Youth Ministry Assistant Director for St. Simons United Methodist Church.
Patrick competed in track at Transylvania University and looks to continue his competitive career with his first triathlon this May on Jekyll Island. He works with F3 on St. Simons Island as well as participating in GoRuck events in the southeastern US. In addition to his athletic pursuits, he is also an avid reader.

A native of Atlanta, GA, Chris has been helping individuals meet their personal health and fitness goals since 2007.
Before moving to St. Simons Island, Chris worked with Richard’s Private Wellness & Fitness Studios in Dahlonega, GA. He is a graduate of Reinhardt College with a B.S. in Sports Information and has a Masters in Sports Studies from the University of Georgia. Chris is a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Chris and his wife Cassie reside on St. Simons Island with their daughters Gracie Jane and Lily and their son Chase.
